On Monday, May 13th, Black Diamond will donate 5% of all sales for the day to the March of Dimes. In honor of all moms, keeping the Mother's Day Celebration going, and to help support the Black Diamond Team participating in the March for Babies on May 19th, Black Diamond would like to give back to the organization that focuses on preventing birth defects and infant mortality.

Black Diamond Wins Robert O. Covey Business of the Year Award
Black Diamond Plumbing and Mechanical, Inc. is the proud recipient of the Robert O. Covey Business of the Year Award*, given by the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce.
We are proud to be in the company of past winners such as Centegra Hospital and Sage Products. Black Diamond President, Rick Sperando, told the Chamber during his acceptance speech that Black Diamond's success comes from a few key ideals; "We always answer the phone, we do what we say we are going to do, and we surround ourselves with the best people."

*The presentation of the Covey Award honors community and business leader Bob Covey who fulfilled responsibilities as an attorney, elected official, bank executive, and service as a volunteer. He was president of the Crystal Lake Chamber in 1950 with 80 members. He was a founding member of the Ambassadors and continues to be active with them. His community leadership includes School District Board for 19 years, vice chair of the County Board, former president and CEO of what is now the Crystal Lake branch of Citibank, and a member of the Lion’s Club for 54 years.
